The Bed and Breakfast is set in the heart of the historical city of Brescia, in Via Musei, only a few steps away from the Santa Giulia complex. From the ancient Roman ruins, the large city squares, Cathedrals old and new, churches and baptisteries, my Bed and Breakfast, situated at the base of the ancient walls of Brescia Castle, offers these and other opportunities to enjoy Brescia (comfortably by foot). You can enjoy the city in all its seasonal glory with events ranging from artistic to gastronomic and those of culture, artisans and shows. Using the public transport network you will comfortably be able to travel throughout the vast province discovering more of Brescia, the Lioness of Italy.
THE APPARTMENT:
The Bed and Breakfast is a renovated appartment done with inventiveness, taste and personality. It is situated on the first floor of a historic building occupying two floors and has a small characterful,courtyard garden. The simple atmosphere is comfortable, hospitable and is continually evolving. There are three rooms available, two double rooms with one bathroom and another double room with a private bathroom.
BREAKFAST:
At Ca del Gando Bed and Breakfast you will sample the flavours of an exquisite breakfast made from fresh baking, typical of Brescian cuisine. Also available are all the flavours of the typical Italian, continental or English breakfast served in the garden or traditionally in the lounge/diner. You can also have breakfast in your room if you wish (self service).
HOW TO FIND US:
By car: From the Motorway A4 Milan - Venice exit Brescia centre follow for the city centre or the tourist signs for Santa Giulia complex. We are approx 50 mts after the complex.
By train or bus: We are not very far from the station (approx 2.5km), you can travel on the no1 or 2 bus getting off at the Piazza Martiri di bel fiore (approx 5 stops away) or by the navetta to the historic centre getting off at the Santa Giulia Complex. For those that arrive by car there is a free parking spot conveintly positioned 60mts away on the street that leads from the Piazza Arnaldo porta to Brescia Castle.

You will see as you continue through the unbounded province of Brescia views offered by the region from its mountains, hills and lakes passing historically from prehistoric times to the ancient Romans on to medieval and through to today. A journey where apart from the culture of ancient history there is the panorama of the hills, the valleys the lakes and the mountains with the flavours of local cheeses, prestigious wines, oils of Garda and via Dicendo that will cheer you during your stay at the Bed and Breakfast. The vastness of the province and its different landscapes are easily accessible from the Bed and Breakfast. There is also the choice of taking part in sports, both winter and summer, from Trekking to Wind surfing, Climbing to Mountain biking,Skiing to Snowboarding. In the Winter Season the Bed and Breakfast offers organised excursions for skiing, from the local resorts to the more famous. Booking on request with hire of equipment available (except clothing).

The prices vary for those under 25yrs of age and stays of 3+ nights. Accomodation is on the basis of Bed & Breakfast only. We do not accept credit cards. Bookings only accepted with deposit. Single min 25 euros max 50 euros double room min 60 euros max 110 Euros. For Immediate bookings contact us. A guided tour of Brescia and the vicinity or a visit to the Santa Giulia Museum can be accompanied by an official tour guide authorised by the province of Brescia.
