THINGS TO DO :
In the vicinity you will find a good road network that connects Valcamonica and Lake Iseo with Lake Idro passing through Valtrompia and Valsabbia.There are other attractions in the area including the wine cellars of Franciacorta, the pyramids of Zone, Lake Moro, Terme di Boario, Capodiponte, Montecampione, Monte Maniva, Miniere della Valtrompia, Museum of Sarezzo, Planetarium of Lumezzan., In the immediate vicinty of our house it is possible to tour on foot or by bicycle. Our suggested routes: journey for health, path of the three valleys and sanctuary of Saint Maria do Giogo. There are also many opportunities to taste the local cuisine in the numerous restaurants managed by people who specialize in the preparation of spit roast, grilled meats and fish dishes. Local events include PALIO DELL`OCA on the 3rd weekend of July (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). A competition for the various local flavours with firework display (the most beautiful of the region). On the evening of the 2nd Sunday of September "POLAVENO CON GUSTO" a gastronomic journey of italian and foreign wines, spit roast, casoncelli, jams, and local honey. In September the festival at the sanctuary of Saint Maria del giogo from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Iseo, Montisola and the surrounding mountains. Also in September the PUMPKIN FESTIVAL at Sale Marasino. In December at Iseo there are the Christmas markets and in Clusamr FESTIVAL OF THE `TINCA` ( fish of the lake).
